I KNOW I’m not the only one that has seen Anese all over instagram.

I have followed Anese on Instagram for months, but I always wondered if their products really do live up to the hype I see all over social media. Luckily a friend has recently tried it and told me how well it had been working for her. Being the ever so curious person that I am, I decided to finally give it a try. I didn’t go for just the booty scrub, but I went all in and purchased what they call The Booty Trio (gotta love the name of the products!). I figured if I’m going to commit, might as well go all the way.

Let’s start off with the packaging. Cute right? Right away the box tells you to “Fuck Bad Vibes” which makes you think of that pamper sesh you are about to give yourself and go  ‘full blown relaxation’ mode.

Now onto the products itself. The trio includes That booty tho, Down with the thickness and Have you seen my underwear.

That booty tho – I was most excited to try this one out of the three. This scrub claims to “target stretch marks, cellulite and acne”. It is made with walnut shells, essential oils and other good stuff to make that butt look its best. I expected it to be the typical harsh exfoliant but to my surprise, it was the total opposite! I used the recommended amount on my cheeks and scrubbed away. Best I can compare the texture to is sand, but even then this scrub is a bit finer than sand (to me)- and also doesn’t really have a scent.

Down with the thickness – Butt masks? I didn’t know this was a thing until I saw this. It’s a clay mask designed to “detox and plump” your butt by “removing oils, while pro-Vitamin B5 and B3 nourish” and it also has collagen which of course plumps. The mask is pink and smells delicious – and as an added bonus you can use this anywhere else on your body. After I scrubbed with That booty tho, I applied a thin layer to my cheeks and left it on for 20 minutes. The only bad thing of course is that you can’t sit down while this is working is magic, so I laid on my stomach on my bed and watched some tv. When time was up I wiped the mask off with a washcloth. Note that this is a clay mask and it will dry up on your skin as time elapses. Next, on to step three!

Have you seen my underwear – This is a “5 oil blend that acts as an intense moisturizer” that is non comedogenic. Most notable of the oils is Arabica coffee bean oil (for its “firming, cellulite fighting properties”) and watermelon oil to “combat dry, cracked skin”. After the mask, I apply about 3 pumps to each cheek and made sure the oil was absorbed before putting on some sweats. The website described the oil as having a watermelon scent – however to me it straight up smelled like coffee beans (totally not a complaint!)

The experience above reflect my first time trying out the products, however, I have been using The booty trio for the past 2 weeks (twice a week) and I must say – it has absolutely made my butt softer! I don’t necessarily suffer from acne back there, however I do get random bumps from time to time (TMI) and noticed that it has not been an issue these past 2 weeks. My major concern is cellulite, and I have noticed that it has visibly been reduced, but of course not by 100%. I’m sure with continued use it will definitely work even better. My butt looks much more supple and plump.
