For those of you that have been waiting for the relaunch of Kat Von D’s Studded Kiss Crème – the wait is finally over!

The newly revamped collection includes 40 shades, with 3 different finishes – satin matte, metallic, and glimmer. The formula was updated to be more pigmented, creamy and comfortable to wear. This wide range of colors also include the bestselling Everlasting Liquid Lipstick shades! Something interesting to point out – Kat included an all white lipstick that can be used as a base to change the tone of the lipstick you want, or you can also use to to mix different colors to come up with your own unique shade. This collection is Vegan and cruelty free.

I was fortunate enough to be sent a lipstick compliments of Influenster for testing purposes. I received the shade Hawkwind, which is a semi matte finish. The Kat Von D site describes this color as nude sienna.

So how true are the claims of it being long wearing and comfortable to wear?! I first applied the lipstick at around 8am before leaving for work. I immediately noticed its creamy consistency with just the right touch of matte – which didn’t make my lips look like they were begging for moisture. I went about my day, and even after lunch, most of the pigment was still on my lips. I only reapplied once during the day. Verdict? I would absolutely recommend this lipstick!
